The Toy Trawler Spaniel is an extinct breed of spaniel that physically resembled the 16th-century King Charles Spaniel. It is believed to have descended from the original King Charles Spaniel and an old variety of Sussex Spaniel. Initially used as a sporting dog, it later became a companion and show dog. By 1920, the breed was considered to be on the verge of extinction. A preserved specimen is held at the Natural History Museum at Tring.

The breed's precise origin is unknown, but in 1919, it was thought to descend from the original curly-coated King Charles Spaniel and the old curly-coated variety of Sussex Spaniel. Although its primary purpose may have been that of a sporting dog, it was more frequently used as a companion dog. In 1907, the breed was more popular in continental Europe than in the United Kingdom, particularly in the Netherlands and Italy.

A preserved specimen is held at the Natural History Museum at Tring. Named Robin, it was bred by Lady Wentworth and born in 1911. It died in 1920, at a time when the breed was described as "almost extinct." The Toy Trawler Spaniel was considered a throwback to the original King Charles Spaniel type. Its head was small and light, with a short black nose that was slightly upturned at the tip. The top of the skull was flat, without a domed shape, and the long ears were set high and forward. Its coat generally featured fairly long feathering and was described as curly but not woolly; its body was of a rather sturdy build. Its size varied, ranging from 28 to 33 cm at the withers—though specimens as small as 23 cm were reported—with a weight of 6.8 kg for a 33 cm dog.

The preferred coat was black with a white chest patch, followed by red with a white chest patch, though black-and-white and red-and-white varieties also existed. These dogs were described as very gentle yet also very bold and courageous; shyness was considered a fault in conformation shows.
