In tribute to

To my little Milaydie

Thanks to

Aurore

It's been 15 years and 5 months since you came into my life, and it's been the best birthday present I've ever had.

I'll never forget my 12th birthday.

My little Milaydie, so mischievous and so adorable, sweet and intelligent.

You gave me so much love and looked after me every day like a little mother.

I thought I'd have you with me all my life, and even though I didn't live at home anymore, every time I came over you'd throw me a special party.

So when I learned that you were suffering from lightning cancer, I felt like I was suffocating.

You were so brave, my little Milaydie, and you really were an example to me and my parents.

These 1 year of struggle against the disease was the most beautiful proof of love that you gave us.

In spite of all the strain you had to endure and your little body deformed and devoured by this nasty disease.

When the vet phoned to tell me that you were suffering too much and that the time had come to let you go, that it was the greatest gift my parents and I could give you, time stopped for me.

Since then, I've had the feeling that nothing would ever be the same again, that I'd never see your little face again, that I'd never be able to hug you again.

I miss you, my little Milaydie, and so do my parents.

Without you, everything is empty.

This November 12, 2007 will remain forever in my memory, I would have loved to be with you in this so trying moment, I'm sorry my Milaydie!
