| You were only 9 years old, and yet fate chose to separate us. I was gone for the day, maybe you were waiting for me to come back, I don't know and I feel guilty. A second of inattention... A car... For 4 hours, the vet tried to save you, only your legs were damaged, not even broken, but displaced. But your heart was weak, and after an X-ray, they realized that my little Mirabelle had a pneumo-thorax, so the vet decided to euthanize you. In your daddy's arms, your little head in his shoulders, you went away, far from me. I asked to see you again the next day, you were so cold, I kissed you and we left you to join the other dogs in paradise. We miss you so much. Mirabelle we love you. |
