A King Lover

A King Lover

Ninette Augier

You little King Charles
The aristocrat of all dogs
You're full of charm
The bond between us is strong

Your eyes are an ocean of tenderness
Where it's good to be immersed
Your kindness is legendary
Your cuddles we couldn't do without

Your love is possessive
With you there's no question of sharing
Your sometimes excessive temper
We never love you enough

You become a drug for us
We can't live without
And if sometimes you get angry
It's easy for us to forgive you

King for pleasure and love I want to stay
King all my life you'll be with me
