In tribute to Vick, my confidanteThanks to Boidin |
 |
| My Vick, I loved you like a sister, you were my confidante until the day Tonton's tractor backed up and ran you over when you were only 4. I was 6, I'm 12, but my heart's still not mended. I love you. My baby, you were like a diamond, emerging from a clear spring when I left the hospital, I didn't know you but I crouched down, you put a paw calmly on my leg. I pulled out that silly name “Domino”, shedding a tear over your little lost dog head with no collar, no tattoo, then left the hospital but a pinch made me turn back. You were gone. Domino, if you've been dead since then, take care of Milou, without whom this blog wouldn't exist. My long-haired white dog with black spots. If I find a lost dog I'll give him a beautiful life. |
