There you are.

At the age of 17 years and 8 months, you have left us.

We'd been preparing for it for some time.

But we hoped it would come as late as possible.

And a few days ago, during the night, that stroke (cerebrovascular accident) took its toll on you.

When I found you that morning, unable to move, I understood, but secretly I was hoping for a miracle.

It didn't happen, and the vet and I did everything we could to put you out of your misery and let you go to doggie heaven.

The whole family misses you, especially your friend Lapinou, who misses running with you under the living room table and taunting you from the sofa.

So many memories come flooding back since your arrival in the family in November 1992.

My MacDonald, you'll always be with us.
