| Goodbye my little dog Louna, my little ratter, my little blonde. You left at 6 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2003, in a Paris-area veterinary clinic, following injuries caused by a "crazy driver and speed freak", when you were barely 15 months old. You left too young. We were getting ready to go home after a wonderful walk in the woods at 7 p.m. on Sunday, when this unconscious man came at full speed and took you with him. You must have wanted to join some little dogs, who were on the other side, but "he" arrived. Forgive me for not having been able to protect you, forgive me for not having been vigilant, forgive me my girl for not having protected you from the stupidity of certain humans. You were very brave, my darling, you fought for 11 hours, but the shock was too great and you left gradually. Please forgive me... I wanted to thank you, my little field blonde, for the happiness you've brought to our little family since you were two months old. Thank you for your generosity, your "trickster" games, your tenderness, your big cuddles, your kindness, your patience, your friendship, your LOVE. I know you now rest in a corner of heaven in the company of your little friends, and I want to say goodbye, not farewell, because I know we'll see each other again one day. So wait for us, we who have loved you, we who will never forget you. You'll always be in my heart. My little dog, I love you and I'll always love you. |
