The Rainbow Bridge

There's a bridge out there that connects the beyond and the earth, it's called the “Rainbow Bridge”
In this part of Paradise there's a place called the Rainbow Bridge.
When a pet dies, it goes to this land, which is connected to Earth.
There are rolling meadows, peaceful hills and lush valleys, and all four-legged friends can run and play together.
They can finally dig all the holes they want, run in pretty flowerbeds, roll around in generous marshes - in short, all earthly prohibitions are no longer a law here.
In this faraway land, water, food and sun abound, and all our friends are comfortable and warm, unless we decide to go for a run in the high mountains capped by eternal snows.
Those who were sick or too old have regained their health and vigour here; those who were injured or crippled have become healthy and strong; those who were abandoned, neglected or mistreated have finally found warmth and comfort.
The animals are happy and at peace, but for many of them, something precious is missing from their hearts.
They've lost someone very special, someone they'd love to have by their side again.
So, days of bliss slowly flow by in endless games and mad races within this great, peaceful pack.
But one day, the time will come when one of them will suddenly stop, and all his senses will be on the alert.
His piercing eyes will shimmer, his attentive ears will stand like watchtowers, his frantic body will throb.
The chosen one will begin to run away from the group, flying over green pastures, crossing wide rivers, his legs carrying him faster and faster, higher and higher.
That's it, you see him running towards you in that point of light at the end of the tunnel... in all fidelity your dog has spotted you among all and has come to this ultimate meeting.
You smile!
At last, you're together again, his old kisses raining down on your face, your hands once more able to caress his neck, his side, his head, you can finally gaze into his trusting, loving eyes.
From now on, nothing will be able to separate you; you'll be reunited forever.
So you can cross the “Rainbow Bridge” together...
