Marialan : "My passion"

In our farmhouse, I live with my collie and shetland dogs, with the sole aim of being happy together; I am the Snow, they are the Sun.

I've crossed paths with these wonderful breeds in my line of luck; without them, I'd be afraid of losing my warmth. Their wisdom and gentleness fill me with joy. Their constant sense of humor brings me much closer to them; they are also my Passion, my confidants, my friends, my True Friends; every day I lavish them with a thousand caresses, but I don't humanize them: I respect their canine code, they know how to respect the human code.

I've been a breeder of these 2 breeds for 15 years, and I have a breeder's number that certifies my seriousness, but my passion goes beyond this, because the word "breeder" doesn't quite fit me: I've chosen to have very few litters of puppies, considering that the dog is a being to be respected and who respects us, and not an object for reproduction."

Jéween gave us a first litter of 2 puppies, then a second with a single puppy that I kept without regret 5 years ago: he's so beautiful and above all so sweet! In a month's time, a new litter will be born...

As for the shetlands we've had for 10 years, 5 litters have been born since then. These litters alone have been passionately desired, with the sole aim of continuing and improving these 2 wonderful breeds. Our satisfaction is that of their future masters.

Quality not quantity.

It's already a year since our first collie left us for a better world: "Famous Hero" was the leader of the pack: with a single glance at the other dogs, he commanded respect and order; his first name stuck to him: he was truly a "Famous Hero"!

He raised Boy, now 12, loved him, supported him, encouraged him; they were inseparable.

When he died, Boy lost 8 kg in just 2 months. Boy's power: taking a joker and resisting his very bad thoughts; Fate then took its course again, my tenderness helped.....it took 1 year !!!!

For the past 1 year, every evening before going to bed, Boy has gone to the rug where Famous used to sleep; he looks at it for a long time, but he always has the same respect: he doesn't go there...

In the secret relationship between dogs, there are sensations, feelings, a kind of honesty that I let myself dream about...
