The Anatoli, also known as the Anatolian shorthair or Turkish shorthair, is a cat breed of Turkish origin.
It is the short-haired variety of the Van Turk.

Standard
The Anatoli is said to be a natural Turkish breed, like the Van Turk and Turkish Angora. The Anatoli was recognized by the WCF in 2001.

A brief historical overview
The Anatoli is a unique natural breed, unmodified by man. Originating in Turkey, more precisely in the Anatolia region from which it takes its name, it is the result of a short-haired genetic mutation of the Van Turk.
Extremely popular in Turkey, exports to Europe and the United States are plentiful, unfortunately causing damage to the breed. In fact, many Anatoli are registered as Van Turkish or Turkish Angora. Passionate breeders, however, are doing their utmost to preserve the breed and limit such mistakes.

General appearance
The Anatoli is a long, powerful cat of great size and strong bone structure.

Behavior / characteristics

Coat and texture
 The coat is short, without woolly undercoat. The Anatoli is a bicolor cat (white coat more or less marked by color) or solid white. All colors are accepted, except chocolate and cinnamon, as well as their dilutions (lilac and fawn). Only spiked patterns are forbidden.
