Segugio Carnico |
| The Segugio Carnico is a breed of hunting dog originating from the Carnia region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. It is a historic, local breed that is now highly endangered, with only about fifty individuals remaining. Traditionally used as a bloodhound and for hunting game, particularly hare, it is a hardy type of dog, perfectly adapted to the steep terrain and harsh conditions of the Alpine mountains. |
