This breed is also known as			Ayachi Inu Ayachi Ken

The "Ayachi Dog" is a rare Japanese breed of dog, traditionally recognized as regional, now considered extinct. It was found in regions such as Oita, Miyazaki, and Saitama (Chichibu) in Japan. It was thought to be related to the Shiba Inu of Shinshu or to ancient Japanese mountain dogs, and local folklore sometimes links it to descendants of the Japanese wolf (Canis lupus hodophilax). Due to crossbreeding and changing customs, its name and pure lineage have been forgotten, and this distinct breed has disappeared.
