The Happa Dog was a dog breed originating in China.

Closely related to the Pug and the Pekingese, it bore a strong resemblance to a cross between these two breeds—a result that, however, did not align with the breeder's original intentions. It is unknown which of these three breeds is the ancestor of the others; the question remains an unsolved mystery, as it is possible they were all developed during the same period. Some sources also identify the Happa Dog as the ancestor of the Tibetan Spaniel and the Japanese Chin.
